EE5110 – Special Topics in Automation and Control
The course offers students timely and updated coverage of a wide range of topics relevant to automation and control engineering tapping on the latest and diverse range of developments in the repertoire of the control group, such as the delivery of a measured collation of automation and control system designs applied to real problems of a diverse nature and which are not easily and directly available from standard literature. These topics encompass satellite systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), robotic manipulators, dynamic vision, and more.
The nature of the course allows the flexibility for recent topics, problems and solutions to be shared with the students.

EE6110 – Special Topics in Automation and Control (Advanced)
The course offers students timely and updated coverage of a wide range of topics relevant to automation and control engineering tapping on the latest and diverse range of developments in the repertoire of the control group. These topics encompass satellite systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), robotic manipulators, dynamic vision, and more.
It is only open to research students. The topics covered will be formulated to contain unsolved problems and issues. These will be of a sufficient size and nature to induce excitement in independent projects for students to explore. Students can choose the problems that are aligned with their thesis topics to complement their research.
